Hi Everyone,Anyone ever had experience with these people? They do collections for utilities.Anyway..the short version is..I owned some income property here in Illinois and a few tenants skipped w/o paying their electric. Com Ed sent me (the owner of the building) the bills and said they were my tresponsibiklity. After many, many letters, faxes, copies of signed leases of the offenders Com Ed turned the account over to NCO financial for collection and I repeated the process with them with no success and eventually they posted the delinquent accounts on my credit report without a hearing, letter of intent or anything. I have written both NCO and Com Ed asking for proof of ownership of the account but their response was that if I wanted it cleared up I should pay the accounts and then dispute it...RIGHT. Anyone have any Ideas about where to go from here? I'm trying to avoid an attorney because I'm sure the cost of one will exceed the cost of the del accounts...about $800. Any ideas would be appreciated. Can NCO just post this to my account without being provided any proof from Edison that I supposedly owned the accounts? Needless to say I never signed anything. HELP!!!!! Thx again Jake
