The cra's and the collection agencies have something in common. They have a problem with the american public. They think the laws don't apply to them.trans union told me that it is permissable purpose to obtain a credit report on a "owed" debt. The definition of owed to them is un-paid, whether it is current or 20 years old.I disputed a tax lein with trans union. They wanted 30 days to investigate.I went to the courthouse and found the release of lein in about 10 mins. After 30 days trans union came back with A STILL ACTIVE TAX LEIN FROM THE SAME PEOPLE THAT GAVE ME RELEASE PAPERS.I disputed it again and they wanted 15 more days to investigate it furthur. Now the 15 days is up and they say the lein is un-paid.I asked for and did not receive a statement of how the investigation was conducted and who was contacted about the lein.I sent them the lein release and we are in some kind of oblivion at present. My report is available to anyone who requests it and false informaion is being provided. It is obvious they have too much contemt to "serve" the public trust.I would like to see these guys fall real bad.
