Your "legal" SOL and the 7 year "reporting" SOL both start on the same date, which may be neither of the dates referred to in your post.

The starting date is the date you were FIRST late or past due PRIOR to your charge off.

If your OC is listing "5/99" on your report and the listing also shows a 30 day late for that period, then that is the correct date.

Your Experian report should show the date for removal, if that date is 6/2006, then that would confirm 5/99 as the start of your SOL.

A CA reporting "acivity dates" does not re-age the account, as the FCRA mandates the OC report the first date of delinquency to the CRA.

Send the offending CA the SOL letter from my website to stop the calls and harrassment.
