That is the whole problem. Someone needs to take this to federal court. All I have now is an opinion and the opinions of various naca attorneys. If a debt is past the 7 year reporting SOL then the inquiry is an extention of that collection. IT would be wrong to allow a hard inquiry because the inquiry is damaging to credit and is a way of reporting a tradeline in a way beyond the 7 years for reporting.
