I had an old cap one account that the SOL has expired on. I have several offers from them like that, what a joke. It's pathetic, I must over 40 letters offers from them over a years period. Some are like the one mentioned, some are offer for a new card and to put the old balance on it. Then others are just offers for a card.
They send them to my x, my mom, my business, it has become a joke. Some days I collect two a day. The latest came in plain envelope with a MC offer, no mention of Cap One untill you look at the disclosure statement and then you find out it is Cap One. Seriously I have saved them all, started to make copies to send to EdCombs.
