You need to check the motor vehicle sales act for Mass., and the UCC laws on repos.

It is my understanding that they cannot claim a deficiency unless there was a legal repo.It is POSSIBLE that they repo's the vehicle wihout actually taking i, but you would have still had to be served.

As far as I can see, there is no question of ANY "SOL" as thy seem to have NO legitimate claim at all.

Send them a validation letter requesting full documentation of any repossession and accounting for any deficiency.
