They cannot even try to collect on an SOL debt and that clearly is what this is. It is beyond the Statue of Limitations, they cannot legally sue you for it, they cannot legally try to collect it.

You owe these scumbag thugs nothing but a sharp stick in their bug-eyes. You owe yourself relief from their predatory behavior. You can accomplish both by calling the Federal Trade Commission tomorrow and filing a complaint against them. Tell the person with whom you speak all the details and follow up with a letter.

You do not have to speak with these lying pig-intestines. If they call you can hang up. If they cause you distress and upset be sure to report this to your physician right away. That is illegal conduct also to be reported to the FTC.

If you are up to it when they call you can listen and better yet, tape them. Forget about the legality of this. FTC people will tell you to tape - "How else can you get evidence of illegal spoken threats without taping them" as FTC reps say.

You can send a Cease and Desist letter to them, form available thru this site. You can also send form letters apprising them of what will happen to them for doing to you as they have done. You can find form letters on this site disputing the debt and demanding they validate it - a complex process - beyond their abilities though they'll try to pass off some poopsheet with a few numbers on it as legit validation. Another violation of federal regs. Good for you. Too bad for them.

We are all here for you. Make sure to get hold of "Scott". You can ensure these jerkXXX's will need a fresh set of Depends (r) by the time you are finished with them. By the mere mention of your name their hair must stand on end. Instruct them that to leave you alone is the true course of wisdom.
