I appreciate your answering my post.

I'm in California.

If this is NOT a made up debt, than they have
completely inacurate information.

There's NO way I could have gotten a line of
credit for ANYTHING during the period of time
that they told me on the phone.

The cretins didn't even PUT a date on the
"affidavite" they sent me.

I've paid off EVERYTHING that I've ever owed.

Slayed ALL of my old demons.

To be honest, I would have paid THEM if they
could have managed to conduct themselves in
a professional maner and PROVEN that I owed
money to someone.

But now, I wilL NEVER pay them a cent because
they're idiots and they use pathetic tactics
in their efforts to secure volunary payments.

Furthermore, since this hole thing started with
me pulling my own credit report online, I can't
help wondering if certain CRAs or online services
aren't involved in some less than savory
activities as well

BOY OH BOY, this bugs me. The more I learn about
credit reporting and debt collection, the
more I feel that there's HUGE gaps in the system.

I'm highly motivated and THURSTY for knowledge.

I'M NOT LETTING THIS ONE SLIP UNDER THE FENCE.
