If ANY of these accounts that were defaulted on are sill on her reports, then they should be disputed as obsolete, as they should have gone 3 years ago.

I would suspect that your friend MIGHT not be actually telling the whole story, have you SEEN her credit report? Is it possible that she might be shading the truth a little to have you help her with a car loan?
