I have read hundreds of posts here on this forum and I found that there seems to "advisors" mentioning "not to pay the CA scumbags and wait out the SOL in your state." What's up with this? Am I the only stupid person trying to find a way to settle ot negotiate with CA's? I am in debt up to my eyeballs (loss of good paying job after 10 years - working long hours now for peanuts - no work to be found in NY)and these CA's aren't just going to disappear because I feel that I don't need to pay them. Aren't you good folks worried about bank account seizure, wage garnishment, lawsuits, bad credit? How are you people able to fly under the radar?? I have to work to keep a shit-hole of a roof over my head and some food in the belly. These CA's will find you. Well fill me in on how I could wait out the SOL period and not be garnished? My bank account holding a whopping $5.00 was seized. Trying not to jump off a bridge, Paddleless
