another re-aging question

This falls into the same area as question below. DH has an old charge-off on his EX report..CO-5/97, 360 communications. Labelled as scheduled to be removed 12/03. Now as of 6/2003 a new tradeline has appeared from Alltel--who by the way 360 merged with in 98. The new tradeline is CO as of 6-2003 for the exact same amount and an account number very similar. In FL so the account is well beyond SOL but of course appears not only duplicated but new.

Where do we dispute first? With a letter to the credit bureau or an SOL letter to Alltel and an intent to sue for re-aging?? Or both?
