My only concern would be that if they have a slightly different name on their records, or a different address on their records, that they may plead ignorance and continue to call you. You didn't state if it was CRRR or not, but if not, I'd re-send it as such and you could, I guess give them the cell phone number that they called you on as a reference to not call you on that.

If you're concerned about your "credit", you should pull all three of your reports individually (don't use the 3 in 1 feature, as you can't dispute anything on those...you'd just have to pull them again individually) and see if there is anything damaging on them.

You could have a surprise in store. I found 2 bogus items on my Equifax report. The CRAs sometimes get multiple people mixed up onto the same report, or there could be a case of identity fraud.
