thanks for the imput, my circumstance is medically controlled my income dropped from 2700.00 to a total income of 640.00 credit card debt is app. 18,000 with another 20,000 in school loans.
I just want to hold off judgements until I can pay off a couple cards to hold through the bankruptcy proceeding, which means I wont be able to file for a few months.
So my question is: if each account receives a token good faith payment will that prevent them from legally starting a judgement or lien against me.
