The only verification they are obligated to send
is the name and address of the original creditor.

Sure, they must stop calling during the validation
process but they can resume dunning once it's
sent.

You can then dispute the debt and send a C&D and
yes, they must stop calling. Period.

This is all, as I see it, just a band-aid. The
problem will not go away that easily.

They can sell the debt to another CA who can in
turn pull another inquiry. Then... voila. Back
to the races again.
