I have CC account that went bad in fall of 1998. It is since been charged off but a CA is hounding me. I told them it was past SOL and she said they can still sue me. I agreed by phone to settle for half, about 2000$ I have already sent them 300$ and am supposed to pay them the rest in Oct. Do I need to pay them or are they SOL. HOw do I get them to stop calling me.
