Can you explain how the system works in getting a judgement? Do you receive a letter first? When does the sheriff come to your door? I know this sounds silly, but I'm more afraid of the sheriff serving me papers than I am of dealing with CA. I live in a small town in NE where everybody wants to know your business. I would appreciate any information about the steps involved, I have 2 accounts in collections currently. Thanks
