Asset failed validation

My last pay was around june 2001 so still have one year for sol (charge off was 2/2001) First northland had it, now asset. First asset sent a computer printout with info that didnot look like mine, said target, wrong account number, balance double what I owe etc etc They listed it on Experian Friday, Equifax within last two days (both have listed as dispute, buone states open with balance, other is closed/no balance)
Sent estoppel yesterday since I was pissed they listed with CRA with conflicting info after I disputed... Today I get another letter from them, two old bills from Mervyns. These bills do not account for payments I made AFTER these bills were recieved. Payments that totaled around $200. These bills also did not have same balance Asset says was due before interest (infact the billed amount due is over $100 more than what Asset says is due), so obviulsy accounting is missing. And no signed contract is included. The cover letter from mervyns is addressed to me and says "enclosed are copies of documents relating to your account." and then two last bills sent. What should I do now? They only recieved the estoppel this morning (going by the usps.com tracking) should I wait for the green card to come back and give them the 15 days or should I consider this to be their attempt to validate from the OC and send my ITS? Mervyns is NOT reporting this account by the way, it is NOWHERE on my record other than the Asset entries that were made in the last week! Do I keep demanding more info since the SOL is up in february I think - I am ordering my report to be sent via mail so I can get the dates.
