You don't need to dispute the dates. Just dispute the whole tradeline.

Since it clearly is faulty, you could try calling CBSC and discuss it with them, since it appears that they are really the one who placed the tradeline on your credit report.

I had a similar situation with Roseville Telephone in California. Found a bogus item on my Equifax report, called Roseville Telephone. They knew nothing about it and referred me to Credit Bureau of Placer County who handles their collections. I discussed the matter with them and convinced them that I had never lived at the address where the phone was being used. They agreed. Technically, if you are able to convince them, they are required to pull the tradeline by Federal law.

Then, immediately after getting CBPC to agree, I called Equifax and disputed it, giving them the information as to whom I spoke at CBPC. Today, I'd probably still call, but I'd follow it up with a CRRR letter documenting not only the call (they'll give you a dispute #) but also the other evidence.

My bogus item was removed within 30 days.
