Derogatory?please help me understand

i have a few deragatory accts on my CR one is showing date reported 3/01/2001 it is from the OC,the DLA is 7/98 but the 7/98 is not showing on the TU report. Status is collection chargeoff, under remarks it shows it was bought by another lender. The other lender is not showing on the acct. does this mean he hasn't reported it to the CRA yet? It is still showing a balance due. My other derogatory is showing a 0 balance with a reported date 2/99., the dla is 7/98, but thats not showin on the report either. What does this all mean? please help.
