Very nice story, but the truth is that most credit card issuers will not put you on a 6-12 month hardship program unless you're at least 3-4 months behind on payments.. and by that time your credit is already in the toilet.

I don't see how a 6-12 month hardship program will help with this amount of debt - its like sticking your finger into a hole in leaking damn.
