SOL 30 dayslate or30 chargeoff/ WHy CHat?

i went to your site and saw definition of SOL my question is i have an acct that shows 30days as of 7/1998 but it is was charged off 8/2000. WHat would be the date i would use for SOL 30 days from charge off or 30 days from last payment. it is confusing to me, i always thought it was from the last time you made a payment to that acct, not date it was charged off. Could you please clarify. thanks
