It is POSSIBLE that you could claim the "closing" date as the start of SOL, was this Discover by any chance? You need to get your statements for the period of time after the account was closed, (suspended) and see exactly what the wording is on the statements, also you need to remember if you SIGNED any agreement to continue to pay after your account was closed to further charges.Did they also reduce your credit limit to prevent additional charges when they closed your account? Take a look at your Experian credit report, (snail mail version, not on line) and see when the "removal date" is, or look for a "status" date on any of your reports.
