When you answer a lawsuit the responses are:

agree or admit
deny
without knowledge

You need to respond to each statement in the complaint. Make a numerical list

After each one, just put down, admit, deny or without knowledge.

Make sure that you respond to each one.

Also make sure that you send a copy to the attorney and file a copy with the courthouse- get it time stamped. If you do not answer within the time frame, they can get a default judgment against you.

Look through WhyChat's website- I think there are links there to answering a suit. Or, go to the library and get nolo book on representing yourself in court. Just tell the librarian what you need, and they can direct you to the books.
