yuck - sherman - I'm so sorry! BUT good news is they screw up ALL the time. Sherman Ac uses a ton of other agencies who are licensed if different states. That way they don't have to be licensed in every state, it protects them and makes them look like they ar not involved. You will need to validate with Pioneer and send copies of all those validation requests to Sherman too. Sherman owns the account, they have assigned it to Pioneer. And make sure you put on your letter "transfer of this account to another agency will result in your immediate prosecution." If you don't do this your account will get moved around to another one of Shermans minions each time you try to validate.
