National Financial Services and threat of turning over to "authorities"

I had a message on my machine last night from a Mr. Byrd's office left the # 516-932-1400 to call before this was forwarded to the Greenville County authorities (county I live in). I looked up the # and it is National Financial Services. Does this mean that they are suing me?? They didn't leave the normal 800# they left the long distance #. ???
