Hi all, would appreciate your thoughts. I ordered a table from Wards. Backordered, backordered, months later they call to arrange delivery. I ask if we can cancel order, they say ok. Next I receive a bill in the mail for the table I didn't get. I went round and round with them, then they stopped calling. In 9/2001 I tell my new landlord I have excellent credit. I was a little embarrassed when he told me I had a charge off. Is there any way to dispute the c/o and get it removed? I'm now told by my lender I have to PAY it off to clear the way for a mtg loan, is this true? Thanks.
