I have been getting phone calls from JBC about bad checks that I wrote back in 1994. When I finally told them that I needed to see proof before I even considered handling this matter, they sent me 3 copies of bad checks that I had written. My question is: Can they still collect on checks dated that far back? I am from Massachusetts, and I have been trying to find the SOL, but can't seem to find anything helpful. Can you help?
