In 1997 I purchased vehicle in Illinois where I lived. That same year I moved to Texas. In Aug 1998 the car was repoed in Texas. I currently live in Texas and am starting to recieve letters from CA (Cavalrey). They are offering a settlement of 10000. As far as I know it has been charged off by US Bank they bought out original creditor First Banks in N. or S. Dakota. Can I still be sued for this. On my last CR about 2 weeks ago niether were even on it.
