Unfortunately, I don't remember the site because I ran across it quite a while ago. I think it was a California attorney though. It definitely isn't fair that they can take all of an IC's check. How do they expect taxes to be paid if they take it all? I have a contract with the company that states I am an independent contractor.

Apparently, they can take it all because it has something to do with them considering it receivables. I think LadynRed and WhyChat know a bit more about it than I do.

Of course, the CA is out of their minds if they even think for one minute that I (or anyone) would continue working as an IC and let them take all of my pay.
