You definitely need a lawyer to deal with this. There are time limits for responding to creditors' objections and there usually will be a trial in the bankruptcy court to determine the issue of fraud.

: I just filed a personal bankruptcy chapter 7 for debts relating to credit cards and charge cards. I tried as much as I could to avoid bankruptcy but unfortunately I had no way out but to have a fresh start. The amount of debts including the unpaid 3 years interest equals to about $250,000. At this point, the bankruptcy case is still in process (few weeks old) and I start getting claims from different creditors claiming that debts were used by fraud and they are objecting to the discharge of debts. My questions are as follows:

: 1. What are my options to such claims.
: 2. What is the outcome if they persist with such claims.
: 3. What is the worse thing that they could do.
: 4. If other creditors did not object to the discharge, how can their debts be discharge while other creditors are claiming to the debts.
: 4. Store cards are demanding their merchandise to be returned. The merchandise is over 3 years old and I do not have it anymore ( no jewelry, no furniture, no clothes, etc..) . What can I do for such request.
: 5. Any ideas on how to have them drop their claims and objection and let me have a fresh start.

: P.S. At the moment, I do not have a job due to relocating myself from one area to another. I also do not hold any property or even a car. In addition, my wife is telling me that she wants divorce and she is going to sue me and make me pay a child support which I do not mind whenever I find a job soon and get a fresh start.

: Please advice me on what I should do with my creditors to lay them off my back and have a fresh start. Just filing for bankruptcy is enough damage to my life, I do not want them to put an extra obstacle.

: Joe
