Don't listen to anyone that states "a voluntary repo is better". just sell the car, refinance and take a slight lose. I fyou have a voluntary repo it is still a repo on your credit report, to any bank, store, loan conpany or anyone else, it doesn't show voluntary or involuntary. To tell you the truth they don't care either. i knwo I thought it would be better so did it 3 years ago, now I can't get a credit card, can't buy anything on credit. i lost just about everything because I didn't even know about some of the things the bank did and didn't tell me.

Don't do a voluntary repo, the bank will abuse you even more, because they look at it as you should have known better. They don't take into account that things in a persons life changes, they are uncaring.
