I transfered a balance from a Citibank to a Capital One card several weeks ago. Capital One issued a check and sent it in the mail on Dec 21st. They have added the amount to my account the day the check was sent. I am now paying two different companies interest on the same debt. My concern is why the check has not been received by Citibank. 15 business days seems lengthy. Do I have any right to tell Captial one to cancel the check? What if the check is lost or I gave them an incorrect address by mistake?
