Questions.....

I called one of my accounts the other day. They said that they had no records of my account and that it had probably been charged off as a bad debt, and when I asked them if I owed them anything or if it had been reffered to an outside agency they said no. Now I am getting calls from another collection agency saying I owe them...Should I pay it?
