I know that you are stuck forever with Sallie Mae and Perkins type loans. How about Law Access loans? Apparently they are not dischargeable in bankruptcy due to some not-for-profit provision in the loan agreement, but how about the statute of limitations and expiration on my credit report? Is this type of relief applicable to this loan? Law Access is considered a private loan; it is not a government loan. I went to law school, got in over my head, and I don't want to be a lawyer. I cannot pay this loan, which is now in default for about 40k. Any advice or experience on this hybrid loan would be appreciated.
