Vehicles and bankrupcy

We had a bk 2 years ago. Involved was a vehicle with a local bank that we decided to put through the bk because as we understood itwe would be free adn clear of the vehicle adn the debt. Now after looking at my credit report that bank is on there stating we have a balance of 6023 out of the 22000. and it says voluntary repo, but states we still have that balance left.

Now I know when you do a repo they auction the vehicle adn then get you for the difference. Is this what they are trying to do and is this normal if the vehicle was put through the chapter 7??
