Okay... long story short... DH and I just bought a mattress that was delivered last Saturday... it sucks. Doesn't feel like the showroom, I think it's a defect. We spent a FORTUNE on this mattress and since their is a 60 day guarantee we went to the store the following day. They only then informed me that we had to wait 30 days (I'm sleeping on the couch... it's that bad). The store referred me to customer service. Called customer service who referred me back to the store. Called the store back and asked for the name and number of the district manager. TWO messages left and no return phone call. Anyway, I put a stop payment on the check since I was getting no response. I stopped in the store today to see to "check on the progress" and I got the "they can file CRIMINAL charges if you stopped payment on the check?!?!?!?!?!".... is that true? I specifically noted merchandise in dispute for the stop payment but now I'm freaked!!!! Please help!!! P.S... sorry, I guess it was a long story not so short!!!!
