I think someone used my closed account

Over 3 years ago I closed a checking and a savings account. I haven't needed to open a new account until now, and I just found out that there was activity on the savings account several months after the account was closed. I have never been contacted about any debts, and I don't know how I should deal with this. What is going on? Can anyone help?
