Trying to collect SOL debt is risky for a CA provided the consumer is aware of their rights and protections and is willing to seek sanctions via FTC, AG et al. A lawyer expressed it thusly;
"CA's wade into a legal thicket when they try to collect SOL debt." Many picayune legal traps re language of collection letters and so forth. Otherwise we can all flee this board and go back to watching Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.
