You need to contact your current mortagage lender and tell them to send you an updated statement of your current standings. Your bank is showing you at 14,000 because, they are mostlikely checking your credit report which is not up-to-the-minute updated. Information on your credit report are not always updated like they should be. Your creditors report to the credit bureaus on a monthly basis, not daily.
