You said your house is in your name. Is your wife's name on the house. If the house is only in your name, they could put a lien against it for the amount. Now they may not be able to foreclose on it but you won't be able to sell the house while the lein is on it or you have to pay back the lien first. The other option is that they could try and sieze your bank account. More than likely they will look for that option where they will get their money the fastest. Good luck.
