A judgement was entered against me, and I called the company and had them "settle" for a lower amount. Now I get my little payment card back from them and see they are still demanding the full amount and are ADDING 22.93% INTEREST - the judgement allows for 12% - this debt is POSSIBLY past SOL and I am investigating that now, if it is past SOL it was up about 2 weeks before the judgement was entered. What is my recourse here? Can I call the company on almost doubling the interest the judge allowed? Washington States allowed interest on judgement is only 12% and these are WA lawyers so they should be aware of this right? What can I do?
