I respectfully request a reasonable postponement of the 1/21/2003 trial date for the due to the following medical conditions and procedures that will have to be treated in the next few months:

1. The defendant will be recovering from surgery.
2. A medical procedure will have to be performed in December 2003 if if the patient is in stable medical condition. This is to minimize the defendants risk due to other life threatening conditions.
4. Documentation validating the defendant’s medical issues was submitted to the District Court of Scum Lawyer Land to the Civil Administrative Clerk on September 28, 2003 at 9:42 a.m.

5. The defendant requests a trial postponement until late December 2---- or early January 2---. This will allow the defendant to address some medical issues that require attention. Also, the defendant or his appointed representatives can attempt to reach a mutually beneficial settlement.
