hard inquiry and CA

I tried to get a hard inquiry removed from my CR. I was told that I should ask the collection agency why they pulled a hard inquiry. The CA was experian. I also tried to get a old address removed because thats how the CA are finding me. But was told that all address stay on for life. I think I got the run around. Sounds like bullshit to me. Any feedback would be appreciated.
