Is this on your credit report? Send the CA a dispute/validation/cease and desist letter. They cannot file suit against you in Tx without getting a Tx lawyer to do it, and without any proof that this was your account,and considering that you are disputing it, I doubt that anyone would take the case. There is no wage garnishment in Tx and there is total homestead exemption.
