Only the OC can sue you unless one of the CA's has actually purchased the debt. If there's 4 of them, it's very unlikely any of them legally own the debt. Threatening to sue you is a violation and you can take them to court if you choose. I would validate with all of them, and then make sure none of them are reporting on your credit report. If they are, validate, dispute with the CRA's and get them off your reports, then deal with the OC. - Jade
