yes, opting out prevents the selling of your name on lists, some to CA's who search for old accts.
Disputing all old addys makes debts harder to verify. I always dispute 4 or 5 at a time, but that is a personal preference. Wait until the opt out has had time to take effect to dispute, IMO. Individual reports are much more accurate than a 3 in 1.
