I tried to speak to someone at Citi about this yesterday...The two people that I had spoken to before no longer work there..No one seemed to want to talk about it..They insisted on an account number..(I think a ss# would have helped them pull something up)...I suppose if I were in their shoes, I would not want to talk about it either.. My husband died in the spring of 2002...the 1099 was issued in LATE Feb of this year... Going thru this ordeal, I have learned just how low human beings can go for a buck...
