Ok, I went through my credit scores, cleaned up errors, got old stuff removed and am on the count down (7 mos)for another to age off. I was divorced last December.Problem #1) My ex allowed a voluntary repo on the truck he was awarded. I was a co-signer. Problem #2)Due to our nations current economy I was forced to transfer or lose a decent job. Unfortunately this meant moving from my home. I've tried to refinance for lower interest (no, debt ratio to high), sell No,( over mortaged-pd off cc's my ex had) can't get a loan to pay difference in the selling price and pay-off (repo of vehicle), looked at renting but that leaves me to make up about $400.00 per month plus taxes and insurance. After the divorce and move I'm tapped out. Plus I can't maintain the house as I've got zero to put back for repairs, etc. I know I can probably offer the car company a partial pay-off. But I can only make payments. I'm taking a shot and trying to negotiate that. Any ideas on what can be done with the house? I'm financed through Citifinancial. I've never missed a payment or been late in the 5 years I've had this home. I've called them to discuss the situation, was routed through several people and finally got "Brian" who's advise was basically "next time choose a better guy, we can't help you". He hung up after telling me he had better people to talk to. Do I have options at all. After the bashing I took trying to talk to these people I've been terrified to even call. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
