WHAT??? The bank doesn't own the car, you do! You owe them money, not a car... what's the deal here saying the bank owns it? Not in the state I live in. It's not auto theft either. The police won't get involved, it's a civil matter. If the bank or credit union were to illegally report the car as stolen they would be in a lot of trouble, not you.
