I am currently out of the country for the past 1.5 years... I owe about $40,000-50,0000 in total to credit cards (but not more than 8,000 individually).. Last time I looked at my credit report I saw this note from all Collection agencies (not the credit cards): Account Closed Seriously past due date / assigned to attorney..

I am really worried that they will put a judgement on me or take legal action against me and since I plan to return I wanted to see if anyone knows if they usually do that, especially since I dont live in the US to serve me and I am not working there...

Please advice (and yes I know what I did was wrong)

thanks
